How does the commission rebate work?
When we represent a property buyer, our firms gets paid a commission from the seller, usually around 2% to 3% of the purchase price. Our company deducts 50% of the commission we receive (with minimum fee of $5000 for homes, condos, and 2-4 unit residential properties and $7500 for 5+ unit multifamily and commercial properties) and credit the rest to you. For example, on a $1M home price with 2.5% buyer agent commission, your share will be $12,500.
Our minimum commission for purchase of a home is $5000 so if the buyer agent commission is less than $10,000, we will keep $5000 and refund the rest to you. In Beverly Hills, most sellers pay 2% to 2.5% of the property purchase price to buyer agents and home prices are mostly over $500,000 so most Beverly Hills homes buyers will receive 50% of our commission.
You will get your cash refund within 10 days after closing. We can also credit your share for the closing cost and mail you the remainder of the credit within 10 days after closing.
